“JUSTIN, Texas — An electric vehicle company is moving its headquarters to North Texas.
Canoo, which is based in Torrance, California, announced that it will move its headquarters to Justin, which is about 40 miles northwest of Dallas. A Canoo spokesperson confirmed to WFAA that Canoo’s leadership team has been based in Justin since 2021.
The news of the move was included in Canoo’s second-quarter earnings report earlier this month, along with continued migration to their facilities in Oklahoma City and Pryor in northeastern Oklahoma.
The company said in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing that it intends to offer relocation to about 137 employees of the 194 based in Torrance, with most being moved to Texas or the manufacturing facilities in Oklahoma.”
