“A complex set of factors are at play in the North Texas home market.
Something’s got to give in the Dallas-Fort Worth housing market.
For the fourth straight month, active home listings remain well above last year’s levels. D-FW’s months of housing inventory have hit a 12-year high.
And still, the bump in supply isn’t having its intended effect — yet.
Median prices aren’t budging much and closed sales were down nearly 12% from June 2023, according to data from the Texas Real Estate Research Center at Texas A&M University, North Texas Real Estate Information Systems and the MetroTex Association of Realtors.”
